Hygiene Assistant – Heartland Dental, Tulsa Hills Dental Care

Join Tulsa Hills Dental Care, a Heartland Dental supported practice located at 7153 South Olympia Avenue, Tulsa, OK 74132, as a full‑time Hygiene Assistant. The role supports hygiene providers and delivers patient care in a collaborative, patient‑first environment.

• Greet and welcome patients, maintaining comfort and providing education throughout treatment.
• Conduct thorough reviews of patients’ health histories to support quality care.
• Assist hygienists with a wide variety of procedures in accordance with state practice acts.
• Set up and restock treatment rooms for each visit, ensuring proper instrument and supply availability.
• Use Dentrix for appointment scheduling and record‑keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms while following OSHA and CDC safety protocols.
• Collaborate with providers and team to follow office systems and maximize workflow.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• State issued Dental Assistant Permit and X‑Ray credentials (or willingness to receive training).
• 1 year or more of Dental Assistant experience preferred.
• Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software.
• Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Adaptability in a fast‑paced, customer‑centric environment and a proactive problem‑solving approach.
• Team‑player mindset and dedication to a positive, service‑oriented culture.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, lift up to 45 lbs, and attend training sessions.
• Must complete required TB testing and comply with PHI/HIPAA training.
