Narrate Design is seeking a full-time Retail Program Manager to work collaboratively in a team environment, performing design and technical production of documents in Revit through all phases of our retail projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Program Leadership: Manage multiple retail projects simultaneously, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with client goals and Narrate standards.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and supervise project teams, including Intern Architects and Project Leaders, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Client + Consultant Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact; coordinate with consultants and stakeholders throughout all project phases.
- Design + Technical Oversight: Guide teams in developing design and technical solutions that meet programmatic, aesthetic, and budgetary requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and coordination of construction documents, specifications, and technical details across multiple projects.
- Code + Compliance: Oversee code analysis, review findings with authorities having jurisdiction, and ensure compliance with applicable codes and accessibility standards.
- Construction Administration: Provide leadership during the construction phase, including review of submittals, RFIs, and site visits (may require occasional out-of-town, overnight travel).
- Strong leadership, management, and mentorship abilities.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; additional experience with Sketch Up, Enscape, and emerging design technologies is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of architectural building systems, detailing, and construction methodologies.
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across a program of projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with project management software.
- Bachelor/Master of Architect Degree from accredited institution.
- 7+ years’ experience.
- Architectural license or commitment to completing licensure process within the first year of employment.
- 401k match up to 4%.
