Position Highlights
• Adult inpatient care (patients 16+) across a large tertiary facility with robust sub-specialty support and 4 closed ICUs
•
Schedule:
7-on/7-off, 12-hour shifts (7 AM - 7 PM); part-time and nocturnist shifts also available (7 PM - 7 AM)
• Average daily census: 18 patients; 1-3 admissions per shift on a round-robin rotation
• No mandatory procedures; procedures available upon request
• Support staff includes experienced hospitalists, discharge coordinators, and rapid response/code teams
• Teaching opportunities with local medical schools
Call & Coverage
• One day of triage call per month
• No floor call after 7 PM; no ER call or admissions after 4 PM
• Code teams manage emergencies; hospitalist involved only for their own patients
