RHEUMATOLOGY
Position Overview:
Weareseekingacompassionateandskilled Rheumatologisttojoinourexpanding Rheumatologydepartmentatthe Springer Buildingin Tulsa ,Oklahoma.
Thisisanexcitingopportunitytobepartofagrowingteamandserveda diverseadultpatientpopulation.
Thedepartmentcurrentlyincludes5physiciansand3advancedpracticeproviders(APPs),andwearelookingtoaddonemoreprovidertomeetcommunityneeds.
- Provideoutpatientcareforadultpatientswithavarietyofrheumatologicconditions
- Manageamixofconditions,includingautoimmunediseases,musculoskeletal disorders,andinflammatorydiseases
- Participate in hospital call rotation (1 in every 6 weekends) with weekend call relief during the week if covering weekends
- Utilize Dragonvoicerecognitionwith Epicfordocumentation
- Conductjointinjectionsandbiopsies(musclebiopsieshandledby
Dr.John King,General Surgery) - Collaboratewithotherspecialistsinthe Springerbuilding,including
Endocrinology,ENT,Podiatry,Dermatology,Ophthalmology,Pediatrics,and Urgent Care
Work Schedule:
- Mondayto Friday,8:00AM–5:00PM
- 4.5daysperweekdedicatedtoseeingpatients
- Call schedule:1inevery6weekends
- Weekday/weeknightcallissharedbetween5providers
- Thedepartmentisequippedwith Sonositeultrasoundandamicroscopefordiagnosisandtreatment
- Infusionsareperformedat Saint Francis Hospital Yaleorthe SFCancer Treatment Center
- Theclinicoffersacollaborativeenvironmentwithaccesstoafullrangeofspecialists,including referrals forpain management needs
- Pediatric Rheumatologyservicesarenotofferedlocally,butpediatricpatients(11yearsandolder) can be seen for consults in our clinic
- Thedepartmentutilizes Dragonvoicerecognitionwith Epicforstreamlineddocumentation
- Board-certified
or board-eligible in Rheumatology - Opentonew graduates
- Experiencewithadultrheumatologyandmusculoskeletalconditions preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
