The Social Service Program Specialist will lead a comprehensive student support system, encompassing counseling and mental health services, learning supports, discipline and suspension management, attendance, and emotional intelligence/personal development skills. This role involves providing direct assistance to students and families, helping them overcome barriers to engaged learning and fostering an environment where all students can thrive academically and personally.
Minimum Qualifications- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field preferred
- Experience: Three (3) years’ experience in direct service with youth;
Previous experience in K-12 school settings that serve low-income students and communities - Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc.: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite;
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
