Private School Tutor

Tulsa Public Schools’ existing salary schedules provide career increment adjustments based on education/experience and/or years of creditable service. For more information about the salary for this specific position please review the Salary Schedule for the corresponding Salary Grade.

A school tutor provides systematic intervention to students with the primary goal of improving academic achievement. Tutors provide capacity to classroom teachers in implementing intervention initiatives, as well as planning, implementing, and assessing intervention services to ensure fidelity. Tutors increase the school’s capacity to effectively implement identified core or universal practices to all students.

• Five (5) years of successful teaching experience
• Proficient technology skill
• Documentation of increasing student achievement

• Possess or ability to obtain and maintain a valid Oklahoma teacher certification in the appropriate subject area
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
