Oral Roberts University invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty positions to teach courses in the College of Education.
RESPONSIBILITIESTeaching Undergraduate Courses in Education:
Teach curriculum aligned with InTASC and ORU standardsTeach through in-person instructionAssist students in achieving course objectives and learning outcomesProvide consistent and quality feedback to studentsEngage students in the learning process through hands-on and inquiry-based teaching methodsMaintain an accurate and current grade bookCommunicate with students regularly through BrightspaceCollaborate with full-time faculty to ensure cohesion across the curriculumPED 424, 434, 465, 475, 485, 495 Student Teaching Fall/SpringOversee pre-clinical and clinical assignmentsREQUIREMENTSEDUCATION:
Hold a Master's degree in the Early Childhood, Elementary, ELL, Special Education, or other Education-related fieldExperience teaching P-12 (minimum of three years required)Experience using Brightspace or other LMSPreferred
Experience in teaching at the higher education level
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
