Overview
Clary Sage College is seeking an Interior Design Substitute
! Degree in Interior Design or related field, minimum of three years professional design experience is required, may be in commercial and/or residential design. Working knowledge of Auto Cad and/or other CAD program is a plus. Ability to assist with a comprehensive and balanced curriculum. The ideal candidate will have a warm and friendly attitude with a sincere desire to see students succeed in the Interior Design industry by encouraging innovative design, critical thinking, and effective communication.
Substitute/As needed position with the possibility of Monday - Friday daytime and/or Monday - Thursday evenings. Licensed by OBPVS.
- Counsel students in a professional manner, offering constructive, encouraging, and timely feedback
- Adhere to curriculum expectations to ensure accreditation standards are met
- Perform instructional assistance
, tutoring, and related support functions as needed - Document grades and attendance
, post to transcript accordingly, maintain a working knowledge of Canvas - Provide students with individualized or small group assistance
, guidance, and study strategies for the development and improvement of basic skills - Support student retention by reviewing individual completion of learning activities, monitoring attendance, and contacting students as necessary
