Teacher Orientation and Mobility

Salary: $1850 / Week

The Teacher Orientation and Mobility (O&M) Specialist provides students with appropriate learning experiences and activities designed to help them in social, intellectual, and emotional growth. The Teacher Orientation and Mobility enables students to develop competencies and skills to function in a successful and positive manner and teach students with visual impairments to safely and independently navigate their environment.

• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state regulations
• Minimum of one year experience in learning environment preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
