Secure System Engineer

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Secure System Engineer to join our cybersecurity team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement security strategies to protect corporate networks, systems, and data.
• Investigate security incidents and prepare detailed reports for management.
• Conduct risk assessments and threat modeling to identify vulnerabilities in proposed architectures.
• Propose and implement solutions to mitigate risks, strengthening systems against known attack vectors.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, perform post-incident analysis, and implement corrective measures to prevent future attacks.
• Work with development, Dev Ops, and IT teams to integrate security features throughout the system lifecycle.

Proven experience (3-5 years) in cybersecurity roles. Advanced knowledge of encryption technologies and SIEM systems (e.g., Splunk, QRadar). Understanding of secure system design principles and methodologies (e.g., zero-trust architecture, defense in depth). Proficiency in secure software development and related frameworks. Knowledge of detection rule syntax (Sigma, YARA, Suricata). Experience with threat modeling and vulnerability management tools (e.g., STRIDE, Nessus, Metasploit). Familiarity with network protocols and architectures (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).

The following would be considered pluses:

Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins or Git Lab CI/CD;

Knowledge of scripting with languages such as Bash, Python or Perl;

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
