Civil​/Structural Engineer

Location:

Corpus Christi, Texas / Tulsa, Oklahoma / El Paso, Texas –Applicants must be willing to work in-office.

Bath Group is seeking a Professional Civil/Structural Engineer with at least 10-15 years of experience to lead project teams in the design and implementation of complex industrial and commercial systems.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform engineering and design of civil/structural projects in the Oil and Gas and commercial industries
• Coordinate with disciplines internally and communicate well with engineers, contractors, and outside Clients
• Ensure installation and operations conform to specifications, codes and customer requirements
• Project manage and lead engineering projects, as required
• Respond to RFI’s for projects and accurately review submittals.
• Conduct and attend site visits and prepare site reports
• Meet with vendors to determine specification requirements for application
• Perform field verification and take-offs of existing systems for renovation projects
• Assist in preparation of cost estimates
• Assist in creation of project schedules and resourcing
• All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited college or university REQUIRED
• Licensed Professional Engineer REQUIRED
• AutoCAD experience REQUIRED
• 10-15 years professional experience in Industrial Plant, Engineering, or Consulting industry
• Must be able to size structural members for new and retrofit projects
• Must be able to design concrete foundations for new and retrofit projects
• Must be able to perform complex nodal analysis for steel designs using programs such as Staad Pro
• Ability to understand and interpret industry and company code requirements
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Experience leading and collaborating with other Engineers, including training project team members
• Must be computer literate
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong focus on client satisfaction
