Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team working on an innovative power generation project for a state‑of‑the‑art facility. This role will focus on the design, implementation, and optimization of a combined heat and power (CHP) cogeneration system, including natural gas infrastructure and energy storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design and engineer power generation systems.
- Develop and implement combined heat and power (CHP) cogeneration solutions to maximize energy efficiency.
- Design electrical infrastructure for on‑site power plant operations, including natural gas generation systems.
- Plan and integrate energy storage systems to ensure continuous power supply and load balancing.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams, including mechanical engineers, construction teams, and facility operations.
- Ensure all designs meet safety standards, regulatory requirements, and environmental compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven design experience in electrical systems and power generation.
- High voltage electrical systems experience required.
- Knowledge of cogeneration (CHP) systems and natural gas power generation.
- Experience with energy storage technologies and integration.
- Strong understanding of critical infrastructure.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations (NEC, NFPA, etc.).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Experience with power plant design and construction.
- Knowledge of microgrid systems and distributed energy resources.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar electrical design software.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
Mid‑Senior level.
