Senior Mechanical Engineer

*** Key Responsibilities
** Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
* Applies knowledge of engineering principles to design components, products, tests and systems.
* Produces technical deliverables (e.g. 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, test reports, analysis reports, design calculations, tolerance analysis, etc.). Assists with prototype assemblies.
* Completes or facilitates engineering change requests that provide needed improvements to documentation and design.
* Works with system level engineering to assist in planning projects and assessing technical feasibility. Leads technical presentations and progress reports.
* Resolve manufacturing issues that require engineering oversight.
* Other duties as assigned.
** Experience
* ** Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* 8+ years of engineering experience.
* Experience performing calculations for engineering design.
* Experience with 3D CAD software, Solid Works preferred.
** Preferred Experience
*** Pipeline or pressure vessel industry experience
* Familiar with pipeline, processing, and or pressure vessel codes; ASME  B31.1, B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, Section VIII Div. 1
* ASME B31.12 expereince a plus
