This company is a market leader in above ground storage tank construction, maintenance, and repair across the energy and industrial sectors. With a strong backlog and repeat client base, they are expanding their estimating team to support both new build AST projects and maintenance scopes.
This role suits an estimator who understands tank construction and wants long-term stability with a contractor that actually delivers what it prices.
What You’ll Be Doing- Preparing detailed cost estimates for new AST construction and maintenance projects
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and client requirements
- Pricing labour, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and vendors
- Supporting bid reviews and value engineering discussions
- Working closely with engineering, operations, and project management teams
- Maintaining estimating databases and historical cost data
- 3+ years estimating experience in above ground storage tanks or heavy industrial construction
- Understanding of API standards and tank construction methods
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced bid environment
- Clear communicator who can work across departments
