Systems Engineer
America Networks is a leading sensor and networking solutions partner for companies in the Industrial, Manufacturing, and Waste Management sectors.
We design and manufacture sensors for storage tanks, water metering, energy metering, gas monitoring, and asset management.
Our founders are experienced telecommunications engineers with over 200 years of combined expertise in designing, optimizing, and performance engineering for international wireless carriers. They identified the need for low power, cost-efficient sensors to collect data, generate alerts, and predict actions. We integrate these sensors with low power, wide area (LPWA) networking technologies to help clients reduce recurring costs associated with operating IoT networks of sensors and connected devices.
We specialize in the design, deployment, optimization, and support of these networks. Whether you need an off-the-shelf or custom solution, we develop tailored solutions and deploy data on the most suitable cloud platform, including your own.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing the schedule, coordination, and completion of projects
- Effectively overseeing multiple, concurrent projects
- Organizing complex activities for successful project launches
- Demonstrating high organization, attention to detail, and excellent time management
- Working proactively in a fast-paced environment
- Overseeing all aspects of project implementation to ensure timely delivery of products and services
- Collaborating with internal teams to develop processes, integrate, measure, implement, and ensure quality assurance
- Understanding technical project details, such as TDM Switch and Transport Equipment knowledge
- Identifying and assessing project risks, documenting actions, and resolving roadblocks efficiently
- Holding a Bachelor of Arts or technical discipline (desired)
- Having experience in Project Management (required)
- PMP certification (desired)
- Communicating effectively across all levels, from team members to executives
- Working with management and labor groups (a plus)
- Defining and tracking project milestones, creating dashboards, and preparing executive presentations
- Negotiating and motivating team members
- Demonstrating problem-solving, leadership, and organizational skills
- Possessing 7-10 years of relevant experience
- Having a flexible work location
