Draftsman​/Designer - SolidWorks

We are seeking a skilled Draftsman with expertise in Solid Works to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience in steel fabrication and possess knowledge of piping and pressure vessels. This role is essential for translating engineering concepts into detailed technical drawings and specifications.

• Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using Solid Works for steel fabrication projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Prepare fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and bill of materials (BOM) for production.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Review and modify existing drawings based on feedback and project needs.
• Assist in troubleshooting design issues and providing solutions during the fabrication process.
• Maintain organized documentation of drawings and revisions.

• Proven experience as a Draftsman, with a strong portfolio of work in Solid Works.
• Preferred experience in steel fabrication and familiarity with related processes.
• Knowledge of piping systems and pressure vessel design is highly desirable.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Associate's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
• Relevant certifications in Solid Works or similar software are a plus.
