Job DescriptionThe Service Engineer position at Zeeco will spend 60% of their time traveling to various installation sites for Zeeco's Burner Division. The primary responsibility after training will be to supervise and validate burner and related equipment installation, perform pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, start-up and tuning, and troubleshoot Zeeco's combustion products. When not in the field, this position may include work at Zeeco's test facility or collaborating with other engineering groups, especially if residing in Tulsa, OK.
Job Duties- Provide solutions for burner or related equipment problems in the field with minimal supervision.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with personnel ranging from plant managers to skilled labor and other Zeeco employees.
- Supervise and manage contractors or other personnel on site.
- Manage workflow based on customer expectations during site visits.
- Follow written and verbal instructions to ensure correct installation and operation of Zeeco combustion systems.
- Start-up, operate, and troubleshoot all Zeeco combustion systems and equipment.
- Create and submit detailed reports.
- Associate’s degree in Engineering or comparable field experience.
- Ability to travel at least 60% of the time.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage workflow and work crews on job sites.
- Technical and mechanical skills in reading drawings, piping utilities from P&'s, instrumentation, welding, and electrical wiring.
- Ability to troubleshoot and seek assistance when needed.
