Base pay range$55.86/hr - $57.86/hr
Mechanical Designer – Contract Position – OnsiteTulsa, OK
$55.00 - $58.00 per hour + Medical, Dental, Vision, Accrued PTO, Paid Holidays, 401k with company match after 90 days.
CADWorx experience required
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare engineering drawing packages, including layout, assembly, detail drawings, and sketches.
- Create and modify 3D piping, custom components, equipment, structures, and piping facilities.
- Collaborate with design engineers to ensure accurate translation of design concepts into CAD models.
- Lead CAD projects, coordinate project sessions, and manage deliverable stages.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
- Perform assessments, design calculations, data collection, and analysis.
- Generate isometric drawings and detail custom pipe fittings for construction.
- Coordinate and execute as-built projects, including field verifications and sketches.
- Liaise with clients and act as a single point of contact for drafting project management.
- Support multi-disciplinary design drafting for facilities engineering.
- Prepare 2D and 3D construction drawing documentation packages and verify design drawings for specification compliance.
- Associate Degree in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology;
Bachelor’s degree preferred. - 10+ years of piping design experience or related field.
- Proficiency in Hexigon CADWorx, Bluebeam, and Navisworks.
- Project Management and MS Project experience preferred.
- Familiarity with ASME B31.3 Process Piping Code certification.
- MS Office proficiency.
- Strong strategic management, planning, organization, collaboration, and execution skills.
- Service-focused, innovative, complex problem solver, and effective communicator.
- Experience with standards and codes: ASME, ANSI, API, CSA.
