OverviewElectrical Engineer (Transmission Systems) –
Location:
Tulsa, OK (Onsite – 5 days/week)
Duration: 12-Month Contract (W2) – Possible Conversion
Pay Rate: $42.34/hr (W2) – Minimal Flexibility
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Flex schedule available)
About the Role:
We are hiring an Electrical Engineer to support transmission system modeling and analysis for medium, high, and extra-high voltage systems. This is a fully onsite role in Tulsa, OK. Candidates must hold an Electrical Engineering degree (Engineering Technology degrees do not qualify).

Preference given to local or nearby candidates
Key Responsibilities- Model transmission system topology, impedance, and facility ratings using PSS/E and/or ASPEN One Liner
- Build power flow and short circuit models for current and future transmission systems
- Perform fault studies and circuit breaker duty analysis
- Model wind and solar (inverter-based) and synchronous generation
- Support engineering and operations teams via Service Now requests
- Conduct transmission system analysis and protection studies
- Support NERC compliance activities
- Collaborate across internal and external engineering teams
- Assist with project planning and technical problem resolution
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited preferred)
- Hands-on experience with ASPEN One Liner and/or Siemens PSS/E
- Experience modeling:
- Inverter-based (wind/solar) and synchronous generation
- Experience with NERC Compliance standards
- Strong data validation, comparison, and clean-up skills
- Experience with process improvement and documentation
