Position: Project Engineer I

Reports to: Director of Project Engineering

Collaborates with: Engineering, Sales, Production, Project Management

Primary Responsibility: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer I to join our team. The Project Engineer I works at the intersection of sales and engineering, helping our clients understand and implement our products and solutions. You will communicate face to face with our sales staff and customers to identify project needs and provide technical support through the sales process.

What You'll Do:

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding product specifications, features, and integration capabilities.
  • Communicate with and educate our sales staff and customers on our technical solutions.
  • Ensure proposed solutions are correctly sized and constructed to meet quality standards.
  • Support the creation of proposals, quotes, and technical documentation for potential clients.
  • Support senior project engineers and project managers in project execution.
  • Estimate project costs and consult on product design with sales and production teams.
  • Provide operations support for new and custom products and projects.
  • Installation and troubleshooting service work for new and custom products in the field.
  • Create tools for matured products to transition to Catalyzer or other teams.

What Qualifies You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering.
  • 0-2 Years in a related engineering field or engineering employment at MIRATECH
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical clients.
  • Exceptional experience with time management, organization skills, meeting project deadlines, problem solving, and creative solutions.
  • Ability to work independently to produce high-caliber deliverables in a short time frame.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) or technical documentation software.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proficient with Solid Works CAD or equivalent
