* Job Description:

**** Essential Responsibilities/

Activities:

*** Assists in the development of 2D drafting/design tools to improve efficiency within the Engineering department.
* Supports conceptual and preliminary models/drawings to be used for development of product.
* Collaborate closely with Engineering department and other teams to understand project requirements.
* Optimize processes to enhance performance, productivity, and user experience.
* Maintain existing engineering records and designs.
* Conduct thorough testing and debugging of automation scripts & tools to identify and resolve issues promptly.
* Coordinate with other engineers, management, and the creative departments to determine design solutions.
* Aides in communication with the Design/Drafting teams to maintain standards.
* Travels, when necessary, for product development at other AAON plants.
* Other duties may be assigned as needed.

* Education and Experience Requirements:

*** Four-year degree in Computer Science (or similar field of study) or Four years of industry experience in similar technical field.
* Experience using Python, VBA, C# or other programming languages.
* Experience using computer-aided design such as AutoCAD, Solid Works or Solid Edge is a plus.
* Proficiency in utilizing a distributed version control system, particularly Git, with in a team setting.
