Electrical Engineering Designer

$60,000.00 per year - $ per year

• Design and plan layouts of electrical systems or components, utilizing AutoCAD and Revit software.
• Conduct detailed calculations to develop manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure project completion in accordance with project schedules.
• Perform detailed analysis and interpretation of data, including the use of SKM Power Tools.
• Ensure designs and installations comply with industry codes and standards such as NFPA 70, NFPA 101, NEC, Life Safety Code, I-Codes.
• Prepare and study technical drawings and specifications of electrical systems to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
• Participate in field surveys, studies, and site investigations.
• Provide technical support and direction to junior engineers and designers.
• Evaluate and implement design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, clients, and other engineers to ensure project success.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SKM Power Tools.
• Comprehensive understanding of electrical design, circuitry, and machine operations.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and standards including NFPA 70, NFPA 101, NEC, Life Safety Code, I-Codes.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
