Base Pay Range$60,000.00 per year - $ per year
Responsibilities- Design and plan layouts of electrical systems or components, utilizing AutoCAD and Revit software.
- Conduct detailed calculations to develop manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure project completion in accordance with project schedules.
- Perform detailed analysis and interpretation of data, including the use of SKM Power Tools.
- Ensure designs and installations comply with industry codes and standards such as NFPA 70, NFPA 101, NEC, Life Safety Code, I-Codes.
- Prepare and study technical drawings and specifications of electrical systems to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
- Participate in field surveys, studies, and site investigations.
- Provide technical support and direction to junior engineers and designers.
- Evaluate and implement design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, clients, and other engineers to ensure project success.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SKM Power Tools.
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical design, circuitry, and machine operations.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and standards including NFPA 70, NFPA 101, NEC, Life Safety Code, I-Codes.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
