Our client is an established industrial engineering and manufacturing organization supporting complex process equipment and automation applications. Their engineering team works closely with customers and internal manufacturing groups to develop reliable control systems for industrial equipment used in demanding operating environments.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to take ownership of PLC-based automation, instrumentation, electrical controls, commissioning, and troubleshooting from engineering through startup.

• Hands-on ownership of industrial controls and automation projects
• Work directly with PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, and process equipment
• Opportunity to see systems through design, factory testing, installation, and commissioning
• Collaborative environment between engineering, manufacturing, and field teams
• Approximately 15-25% travel for commissioning and startup activities

• 8+ years of hands-on industrial controls, automation, instrumentation, or process controls experience
• Strong experience with Allen-Bradley Control Logix and Studio 5000
• Experience with Burner Management Systems
• Hands-on Factory Talk experience
• Experience with PLC programming, HMI/SCADA, I/O, and industrial control systems
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, control narratives, electrical schematics, and instrumentation documentation
• Experience with industrial instrumentation and field devices
• Experience with FAT, SAT, commissioning, startup, and field troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of industrial electrical/control systems
• Experience working in a manufacturing, process equipment, industrial automation, or similar environment
