** The Manager of Capital Equipment - Tubulars is responsible for the strategic management, reliability, lifecycle planning, standardization, compliance, and operational readiness of specialized drilling equipment across the H&P rig fleet, primarily in the Western Hemisphere. This position provides leadership and oversight for asset categories including well control equipment, drilling fluids systems, mechanical support equipment, and other specialized rig systems critical to safe and efficient contract drilling operations.

The role partners with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, HSE, and field leadership to optimize equipment performance, maximize asset utilization, control lifecycle costs, and support operational excellence throughout the fleet.

* Lead asset management strategies for specialized drilling equipment across the H&P rig fleet.
* Develop lifecycle management plans, replacement strategies, maintenance requirements, and equipment standards for assigned asset categories.
* Manage capital equipment utilized in drilling operations and support functions. Facilitate transfers of assets according to business needs.
* Monitor asset reliability, utilization, maintenance costs, and operational performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
* Develop and implement standardization initiatives to improve fleet consistency, equipment performance, and operational efficiency.
* Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and HSE teams to resolve equipment issues and support field operations.
* Provide technical expertise and recommendations regarding equipment selection, deployment, modifications, upgrades, and replacement.
* Support root cause investigations and corrective action development for significant equipment failures.
* Lead or support capital projects involving specialized drilling equipment and related infrastructure.
* Develop and manage operating and capital budgets associated with assigned asset categories.
