About the job Electrical Drafter (Skid Instrumentation)
Tech Partners is recruiting an Electrical Drafter for an energy-sector client in West Tulsa. This is an on-site role working directly with the drafting supervisor and the shop that builds what you draw.
The work: 2D electrical drawings for skid-mounted measurement and instrumentation packages. Schematics, wiring diagrams, panel and junction box layouts, and the revisions and as-builts that keep a drawing set honest once the skid hits the shop floor.
What you need:
Drafting experience on skid-based measurement or instrumentation packages. This is the one requirement that matters most.
Strong 2D electrical drafting (AutoCAD Electrical or similar).
A working understanding of instrumentation and control wiring, enough to catch a markup that doesn't make sense before it gets built.
Ability to work on-site in West Tulsa.
Nice to have:
Oil and gas measurement or metering experience.
Time spent around fabrication, where you've had to answer questions from the people building to your drawings.
What we care about:
People who check their own work, ask why when a markup looks wrong, and keep drawing packages clean under schedule pressure. If you've drafted instrumentation skids, we want to talk.
