As a Park Operations Host, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining our attractions, delivering top‑notch guest service, helping to execute fun events, and managing our parking lot like a pro.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Keep the park in tip‑top shape, from attractions to event setups, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Provide exceptional service to our guests by helping them navigate the park and ensuring they have a great time.
  • Assist in setting up and tearing down events, from tables and chairs to tents and signage, making sure every detail is perfect.
  • Manage parking flow with ease, directing guests to spots and keeping things running smoothly before and after the park opens.
  • Work alongside an amazing team that thrives on excitement and fun while always upholding safety and operational standards.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Embody the Spirit of GGP Parks: conduct all activities with integrity, fully aligning with the mission and values of GGP Parks.
  • Engage with guests and team members, communicating with professionalism and enthusiasm, fostering positive connections by following established protocols.
  • Deliver unforgettable guest experiences by embracing the park’s culture, inspiring, educating, and exciting guests at every opportunity.
  • Event setup & execution: play an essential role in event preparation, including loading and unloading equipment, setting up flags, props, signage, tables, chairs, tents, and more for Gathering Place events.
  • Event breakdown & cleanup: take charge of post‑event cleanup, ensuring all equipment and supplies are accounted for and returned to storage.
  • Active participation in park activities: undertake physical tasks such as climbing park elements, operating boats, and assisting with loading and unloading park equipment.
  • Crowd control & safety: assist with crowds during events or emergencies, ensuring smooth operations and the safety of all guests.
  • Direct traffic with precision: help support the parking lot flow by placing/removing cones and signage, directing guests to available spaces.
  • Opening & closing support: play an integral role in park opening and closing, conducting thorough equipment inspections and following safety procedures.
  • Uphold safety and efficiency standards: consistently adhere to safety protocols and operational procedures.
  • Create positive guest interactions: be friendly, courteous, and proactive in assisting guests, answering questions, and providing clear directions.
  • Maintain park cleanliness: keep park attractions and play elements clean, performing tasks such as sweeping, blow packing, raking sand, and organizing storage areas.
