Controller, Finance & Banking, Accounting Manager

Position: Controller

Fuse3 Solutions is partnered with a manufacturing company searching for a Controller to join their team. The Controller would be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations, including managing the accounting team, preparing financial statements, and overseeing budgeting and forecasting.

• Financial operations: Manage daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Reporting: Prepare and publish monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Budgeting: Oversee the annual budget process and financial forecasting, analyzing and reporting variances.
• Internal controls: Develop and implement internal controls and policies to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting and tax filings.
• Auditing: Coordinate activities with external auditors and ensure readiness for audits.
• Analysis: Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making by senior management.
• Manufacturing-specific duties: For a manufacturing company, this includes analyzing production costs, budgets, and financial performance to ensure profitability and efficiency.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with CPA preferred.
• Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar senior accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Proficiency with accounting software (SAP, Oracle Net Suite, Quick Books) and financial close software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with manufacturing accounting is a plus.

Salary for the Controller is $165+/year based on experience.
