Work Schedule

Monday–Friday, plus some Saturdays as required.

Job Description:

This role provides comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help them achieve their financial goals. Key responsibilities include triaging client leads, referring to business partners based on client needs and asset thresholds, meeting with clients to review financial and investment goals, building a financial plan, and recommending brokerage products. The position requires completing required licenses and trainings. This role is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements.

All employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. The SAFE Act background check and registration process must be completed and maintained. Failure to obtain or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in disciplinary action up to termination.

Responsibilities:

  • Works with clients to plan short- and long-term financial goals by building a financial plan with brokerage products (stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities) and banking/managed solutions.
  • Recommends banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals and needs.
  • Triages client requests and makes referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds.
  • Mitigates and controls risk as part of daily activities.
  • Identifies and engages potential new clients through referrals or the bank’s client base.
  • Provides coaching and feedback to referral partners based on client needs and potential product services.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently holds Series 7 & 66 licenses (or 63 & 65 in lieu of 66). If the 66 is not held but 63 or 65 is, an offer can be extended with the condition that a passing score is received for the missing series within 60 days.
  • At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services.
  • At least one year of experience in the financial services industry and/or a sales environment with achieved goals.
  • Ability to set and accomplish goals, build and nurture relationships, collaborate effectively, communicate confidently with clients, manage goals, navigate complexity, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong desire to learn, adapt to new information, and seek solutions for clients; efficient time and capacity management; thorough regulatory due diligence in daily activities and long-term strategies.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong computer skills with the ability to multitask in a demanding environment.
  • Three or more years of experience in financial services and/or sales environments with goals met or exceeded.
  • Additional professional designations such as CFP and/or CRPC.
  • Insurance licenses.
