Join Blue Sky Bank as a Teller II!

We’re seeking a customer-focused, detail-oriented Teller II to join our retail banking team. As a Teller II, you’ll be on the front lines assisting customers with a wide range of banking products and services. This role combines teller responsibilities with new account operations, offering a dynamic opportunity to grow your banking career while delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional, courteous, and efficient service to customers in‑branch and over the phone.
  • Promote bank products and services by identifying customer needs and making appropriate referrals.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and account issues promptly and professionally.
  • Open and maintain consumer deposit and savings accounts.
  • Perform account maintenance, including debit card functions, stop payments, and wire transactions.
  • Review and verify new accounts for accuracy and compliance.
  • Process teller transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Balance cash drawer daily and maintain transaction logs.
  • Identify and follow procedures for placing holds and verifying endorsements.
  • Assist with training new Universal Bankers.
  • Travel between branches as needed to support operations.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment with peers and leadership.
  • Stay current on banking regulations and security practices.
  • Recognize and respond to red flags such as fraud, scams, and phishing attempts.
Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 6 months to 1 year of banking experience (including cash handling and customer service).
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in navigating multiple computer systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of banking experience
