About Siket Bank
Addis Ababa Job Creation Project Office established in 1996 G.C in Addis Ababa City Administration to provide financial services to the poor people who cannot access financial services from formal banks in the city. The project office was established as microfinance institution by the name of Addis Credit and Saving Institution S.C in 2000 G.C by six shareholders with 517,000 paid up capital & subscribed capital of birr 1,017,000 based on National Bank of Ethiopia proclamation No.
40/96 which laid the legal basis for the establishment of microfinance institutions. Addis Credit and Saving institution S.C began its operation with 5 branch offices and 85 employees. During its first operation year the institution reached 1,521 customers with outstanding loan of 1,799,513 birr.
Based on the National Bank of Ethiopia’s directive Addis Credit and Saving Institution transformed itself to the bank by the name called SIKET BANK S.C and acquired a banking business license. The bank has been showing continued growth as evidenced by its number of customers, capital growth, assets, outstanding loans, employees, number of branches, etc. By 2024 & 25 budget year, the bank has reached 9.3 billion birr in capital

Educational and Work Experience Requirements
A minimum of BA/BSC preferably MA/MBA/MSC holder from recognized higher learning institutions in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Banking and Insurance, Economics, Management, or related field of discipline.
Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience out of which a minimum of 2 years of experience senior customer services officer or equivalent.
