Regional Cost Accountant

SBCS is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our clients team in Tulsa. As a Cost Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our company's success by providing accurate and timely financial information to the team. You will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial data. You will also work closely with our internal team and external auditors to provide financial advice and support.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for multiple projects and locations
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Conduct monthly and yearly account reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Review and analyze financial data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement
• Work closely with clients to provide financial advice and support
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and laws
• Collaborate with other team members to improve financial processes and procedures
• Participate in special projects as needed

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance in a manufacturing setting
• CPA certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
