Job Title:

CT Technologist

Join our team as a CT Technologist and play a vital role in diagnostic imaging. Your responsibilities will include:

Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.

Appropriately positioning patients for scans.

Performing regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes.

Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.

Interpreting doctors' written scanning instructions accurately.

Administering radiocontrast agents to enhance imaging quality.

Evaluating CT scans for technical quality.

Explaining procedures to patients and providing reassurance and support.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
Position patients correctly for scans.
Perform routine maintenance on the CT scanner.
Ensure radiologic equipment sterilization.
Follow physicians' instructions precisely.
Administer contrast agents safely.
Assess image quality.
Communicate procedures effectively to patients.

Required Skills &

Certifications:

CT Technologist RN, Traveler, or equivalent.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
