Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656‑bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, advanced technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

• The Radiation Therapist administers ionizing radiation treatments to cancer patients under the general supervision of the Radiation Oncologist and Radiation Physicist.
• Demonstrate knowledge of simulation procedure and be willing to rotate on all equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the radiation therapy plan prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
• Accurately localize the treatment field and assure reproducibility.
• Schedule new patients for radiation therapy treatments.

• Technical or Associate’s degree in radiography.
• Must be registered or registry eligible with the ARRT.
• If registry eligible, must become advanced certified in Radiation Therapy within 60 days of hire.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

• One year of radiation therapy experience.
