Shift Details:
Monday‑Thursday, 8:30‑5:30. This is a temporary position starting approximately 1‑2‑26 and lasting approximately 4 months.

The Optician fills prescriptions for corrective lenses, fits and adjusts eyeglasses and contact lenses for optimal vision and comfort. The role includes assisting patients with frame selection, providing advice on lens options, ensuring proper care and maintenance of eyewear, managing inventory, processing orders, and maintaining patient records.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two to three years of experience in an optometry or ophthalmology office setting preferred, but training on the job is available.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a patient‑centered focus.
• Organized, detail‑oriented and team‑oriented.

This position has been deemed a "Safety‑Sensitive" position; therefore, Morton reserves the right to refuse to hire an applicant or may terminate an employee in a "Safety‑Sensitive Position" who tests positive for medical marijuana even if the applicant has a valid medical marijuana license.
