The EMT strives to provide high-quality patient care in accordance with EMSA protocols, Oklahoma regulations, and Medical Control directives, always prioritizing patient safety and professional standards.
PrimaryJob Responsibilities
- Follow medical protocols and directives.
- Ensure safe transport and care of patients.
- Complete documentation accurately for patient care and billing.
- Safely operate and maintain ambulance and equipment.
Physical Requirements
Work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift up to 250-350 pounds with assistance, and perform physical tasks requiring good vision and coordination.
Skills & Requirements- Ability to work independently and handle emergencies.
- Effective communication skills.
- Continuous EMS education.
- Successful completion of background checks, physical tests, and drug screening.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
- High school diploma or GED; college or technical certification preferred.
- Oklahoma EMT certification, National Registry, CPR, and other required licenses.
Position is full-time, entry level, in the healthcare industry, based in Tulsa, OK.
