Overview
The Pharmacy Technician assists the Registered Pharmacist in the preparation and delivery of pharmaceutical preparations. The Pharmacy Technician works under the direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist and performs non-professional duties to ensure that the Pharmacy Department is in full compliance with all hospital, state, federal, and Board of Pharmacy policies, laws, rules, and regulations. The Pharmacy Technician will maintain a National Certified Pharmacy Technician license.
Responsibilities- Assist the Registered Pharmacist in the preparation and delivery of pharmaceutical preparations.
- Work under the direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist and perform non-professional duties to ensure compliance with hospital, state, federal, and Board of Pharmacy policies, laws, rules, and regulations.
- Education:
High school or GED - Licenses/Certifications:
Oklahoma Pharmacy Technician or Permit;
National Certified Technician License required
