* The incumbent must be a graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology and be registry eligible. ARRT registry is preferred. Must be certified in Radiology within 1 year of hire. This position requires cross-training in Diagnostic Radiology and at least one other modality such as CT or MRI. The candidate must be competent to operate all diagnostic radiography equipment and either MRI or CT scanners, handle patient transportation, manage the daily schedule, and perform IV insertions for contrast administration.

Responsibilities include equipment handling, room cleaning, supply ordering, image transmission to PACS, assisting with invasive procedures, providing basic patient care, and light clerical duties. Availability for 24-hour callback with a 45-minute response time is required. The candidate must demonstrate age-specific patient care knowledge, understanding of growth and development principles, and the ability to assess patient data and needs. New hires have 1 year to cross-train in a second advanced modality and can be promoted to Multi-skilled status upon full competency, either through initial skills or after training.

Certification in Radiology is required; CT or MRI certification is preferred and encouraged.
