Summary

The EMT strives to provide high-quality patient care in accordance with EMSA protocols, Oklahoma regulations, and Medical Control directives, always prioritizing patient safety and professional standards.

Primary

Job Responsibilities
  • Follow medical protocols and directives.
  • Ensure safe transport and care of patients.
  • Complete documentation accurately for patient care and billing.
  • Safely operate and maintain ambulance and equipment.
Work Environment &

Physical Requirements

Work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift up to 250-350 pounds with assistance, and perform physical tasks requiring good vision and coordination.

Skills & Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and handle emergencies.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Continuous EMS education.
  • Successful completion of background checks, physical tests, and drug screening.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
Education & Certifications
  • High school diploma or GED; college or technical certification preferred.
  • Oklahoma EMT certification, National Registry, CPR, and other required licenses.
