As a full‑time CST you will work Monday – Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with a rotating day off; e.g. Tuesday off this week, Wednesday off next week, Thursday off the following week. Every four weeks you’ll get a 4‑day weekend due to having Friday and Monday off on the rotation. There is some on‑call required which is typically 2‑3 days a month, with 1 weekend call every 6‑8 weeks or so.

Ortho experience preferred
The Certified Surgery Tech holds a safety‑sensitive position, and provides aid in functions that help the surgeon carry out a safe operation with optimal results for the patient. He/she understands the procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon. He/she has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly vigilant for maintenance of the sterile field.
What’srequired of you?
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
- Certified Surgical Techs require certification through NBSTA upon hire.
- Current BLS certification required upon hire.
No experience required!
Specialty Knowledge & Skills- Must be knowledgeable and demonstrate competency in current surgical and sterile procedures that are unit/age specific.
