Operates imaging equipment to produce images for diagnostic purposes. The Graduate Radiology Technologist is an interim position between graduation from an approved accredited program in radiology technology and employment as a Technologist in Radiology. The GRT must take and pass the licensing exam, becoming registered within one (1) year of employment.

The Graduate Radiology Technologist is an interim position between graduation from an approved accredited program in radiology technology and employment as a Technologist in Radiology. The GRT must take and pass the licensing exam, becoming registered within one (1) year of employment. CPR Certification.

6 months to 1 year related experience preferred.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access as might be used in the preparation of correspondence/reports. Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective/efficient manner.

• Exercises appropriate judgment, efficiency, and correct technique in the performance of imaging procedures.
• Maintains proper documentation of data according to departmental and hospital policy/protocols.
• Supports department/hospital goals through QA and educational activities.
• Collaborates effectively with patient, family, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Complies with all departmental and hospital policies.
• Performs other duties as required.
