Utica Park Clinic, founded in 1982, is a multi‑specialty medical group with more than 300 employed physicians and advanced practice providers representing over 25 specialties across 80 plus clinics in Oklahoma.

The Medical Assistant provides superior patient care and performs administrative and delegated clinical tasks that support patients in a clinic‑based environment as part of a care team led by the physician and/or advanced practice provider.

• Enter, maintain, and report all medical history, medical coding, and file claims using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Support patient visits, including greeting patients, escorting them to exam rooms, taking vital signs, and gathering applicable medical information to support the visit and recommended treatment.
• Sterilize and prepare medical instruments; ensure patient exam rooms are disinfected, orderly, and ready for incoming patients; provide patients with privacy, comfort, safety, and hygiene.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and stocking supplies, instruments, and equipment for all exam rooms.
• Maintain appropriate paperwork for inventory control and review orders received for completeness.
• Address and request referrals and other insurance authorizations, and pass along patient information for prescriptions, x‑rays, or lab requisitions to necessary parties (pharmacies, hospitals, labs).

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office.
• BLS Certification required within 14 days of start.

• Associate’s degree.
• Graduate from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program or three years of MA experience.
• Current national certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
