Operating Room Tech

• Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656‑bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

• Coordinate effectively with the charge nurse, colleagues, and anesthesia team to address patient care needs.
• Assist in positioning the patient, room turnover, and terminal cleaning of operating rooms.
• Maintain supply inventory; stock anesthesia supply and equipment carts.
• Clean and maintain anesthesia machines, ventilators, and various small pieces of equipment.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of physiology and hospital procedures.
• Transport patients to and from surgical services departments.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
