Orthopedic Registered Nurse RN – 7p‑7a – PRN

Position Overview
As a PRN orthopedic RN, the position will begin with a part‑time or full‑time orientation period and then require a minimum of 96 hours per month. The first week of orientation will include Monday‑Wednesday 8‑hour shifts, though Monday‑Friday 8‑hour shifts would be ideal. The role is compensated at a flat rate and qualifies for shift differentials.
The orthopedic registered nurse holds a safety‑sensitive position and delivers personalized, comprehensive care to patients through the nursing process, combining therapeutic use of the self, innovative technology, and collaboration among patients, families and health‑care professionals. The RN is responsible for providing leadership to non‑licensed staff through prescribing, delegating, and coordinating medical‑surgical nursing care for optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements- What’s required of you? Current Oklahoma or multi‑state RN license. Current BLS. Completion of ACLS certification within 60 days of hire (ACLS classes are offered at OSH after hire).
- Do I need experience? No experience required.
- Specialty Knowledge & Skills – Must be knowledgeable and demonstrate competency in current nursing practices that are unit/age specific.
