Pay Rate: DOE
Schedule / Hours- Monday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Thursday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Employees are expected to come in early one day per week and stay late one day per week.)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality patient care. The PTA will assist in implementing treatment plans, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, and helping create a positive rehabilitation experience.
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Responsibilities- Assist Physical Therapists in carrying out individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and modalities as directed
- Monitor patient progress and report observations to the Physical Therapist
- Educate patients on exercises, safety, and proper use of equipment
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments provided
- Prepare and clean treatment areas and equipment
- Ensure compliance with all safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current PTA license in the state of practice
- CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Prior experience preferred but not required
