• Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital (specializes in surgical services, diagnostic imaging and pain management, offering state‑of‑the‑art MRI, computed tomography and myelography technology).

• Help set up the operating room and organize the sterile table with surgical instruments and equipment, sterile linens, and sterile solutions.
• Understand sterile aseptic technique and demonstrate knowledge of basic care preparation including supplies and equipment relevant to the specific procedure.
• Understand the surgical procedures and effectively anticipate the surgeon’s needs by passing instruments and providing sterile items efficiently.
• Work well within a team, demonstrate flexibility, and be willing to assist others and perform departmental tasks needed.
• Work within the AORN and AST guidelines.
• Clean and restock the operating room.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of a Surgical Technology program, equivalent training as an LPN, or five years of experience in scrubbing operative procedures.
• Surgical Technologist Certification (NBSTSA or NCCT).

Preferred

Job Requirements:

• Two years of clinical practice.
