Physical Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Tulsa Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation community serving the Tulsa and surrounding areas. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in our mission to provide individualized care plans for each resident.

• Conducting physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
• Developing and implementing treatment plans to achieve patient goals
• Performing clinical assessments, evaluations, and screenings
• Providing patient education and training on exercise programs and daily living skills
• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment

• Work closely with the physical therapy team to develop and implement treatment plans
• Assist in the preparation and setup of treatment areas
• Participate in patient care conferences to discuss patient progress and goals
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or related field
• Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
• One year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant preferred
• Ability to lift and move patients as needed
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
