Insurance Follow-up Rep

Insurance Follow-Up Representative Pay: $16–$18 per hour

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Previous experience in medical billing, insurance follow-up, or healthcare accounts receivable preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Computer proficiency and experience using billing software

Trinity Employment Specialists is seeking an Insurance Follow-Up Representative for a healthcare client in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This position focuses on following up on outstanding insurance claims, researching claim issues, and working with insurance companies to help ensure timely payments. This is a great opportunity for someone with medical billing or insurance experience who enjoys problem-solving, staying organized, and helping keep the billing process running smoothly.

• Follow up on outstanding insurance claims and unpaid balances
• Contact insurance companies to check claim statuses and resolve payment delays
• Research claim denials, billing errors, and discrepancies
• Document claim updates and communications accurately in the billing system
• Communicate with insurance representatives, healthcare providers, and patients as needed
• Assist with insurance eligibility and benefits verification
• Work with the billing team to improve claim resolution and collections
• Maintain accurate records and follow established billing procedures

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous medical billing, insurance claims, accounts receivable, or revenue cycle experience is a plus
• Familiarity with medical billing systems and insurance portals preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
