Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Valet for Tulsa Club Hotel in Tulsa, OK.

Base pay range: $13.50/hr - $13.50/hr

Job Purpose

Under general supervision, provides porter services to hotel guests and ensures their satisfaction and comfort by promptly and courteously responding to guest requests.

Park and retrieve customer vehicles in specified areas in a safe and efficient manner. Provide accurate and timely documentation of vehicle checks, vehicle damage, and other conditions prior to service. Promote courteous treatment of guests and resolve guest service issues in a timely manner. Warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance reassure guests they’ve made the right choice to stay with us.

  • Upon arrival, greets and assists guests by helping unload luggage from vehicle and transporting to their room, personally carrying the luggage, or using a luggage cart. Park and retrieve customer vehicles in specified areas in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Upon departure, assists the guest by transporting luggage from room to lobby, and helping the guest load luggage into vehicle.
  • Responds to guest needs by promptly delivering laundry, newspapers, iron & ironing board, additional linens, etc., in person. Maintains written log recording these requests and deliveries.
  • Responds to inquiries and promotes the hotel’s services, in person and on telephone, by explaining products/services. Provides the guest with up-to-date hotel information in order to enhance customer relations.
  • Communicates hotel vehicle maintenance needed to engineer in a timely manner and follows up on completion.
  • Obeys all traffic and driving regulations.
  • Stays on scheduled route at all times.
  • Ensures safety of all passengers and their belongings.
  • Keeps abreast of local activities and the area’s establishments to answer questions, recommend and give directions.
  • Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.
  • Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
  • Cleans lobby areas and entrances and keeps them free of debris to present a clean and attractive facility to customers.
  • Provides assistance to other employees and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
  • Applicants must be able to maintain a friendly, service‑mindful attitude in a physically demanding and fast‑paced environment.
  • Must be detail‑oriented—able to assist patrons while safely keeping track of keys, parking layout, etc.
  • Seasonal outside duties must be completed, i.e. snow removal, trash collection, and sweeping.
Qualifications and Requirements

High School diploma / secondary qualification or equivalent.

Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes and standards.

  • Must have vision ability to see objects and people at a distance.
  • Must have finger, hand and upper body dexterity to grasp handles, carry bundles and lift packages.
  • Must have upper body strength to continually lift and carry up to 65lbs throughout the hotel during the entire shift.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and understand and follow verbal instruction.
  • Must be able to use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service problems.
  • Able to run/keep an effective pace during shift.

  • Reading and writing abilities are used often when completing paperwork, logging issues/complaints/requests/information updates, etc.
  • Basic math skills are used frequently when handling cash or credit.

  • Have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and/or holidays.
