Duties and Expectations
- Guest Relations:
Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile. - Name Use:
Use the guests’ names whenever possible, ensuring they feel properly welcomed. - Guest Satisfaction:
All Team Members work together to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores. - Recovery:
Ability to handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and a sense of urgency. - Hotel Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of all features of the hotel facility and amenities. - Events:
Awareness and support for all groups and events at the hotel. - Technology:
Understanding of relevant technology for each role. - Phone Etiquette:
Answer all incoming calls with friendly service using the approved greeting. - Spotless Cleanliness
- Sparkling Clean Work spaces:
All areas should be clean and well-organized. - Pitching In:
Cleanliness is a team effort; team members may assist with cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed. - Hospitality While Cleaning:
Greet every guest happily with a smile, by name if possible, while cleaning. - Product Consistency & Quality
- Checklists to 100% Accuracy:
Complete operational checklists on time, every shift. - Shift Handover Reports:
Accurate and timely handover reports. - Flawless Uniform:
Wear a clean, approved uniform with nametag and professional appearance. - Teamwork:
Clear, honest, and professional communication; willingness to stretch beyond traditional roles; collaboration for a welcoming environment.
Breakfast Attendant:
Role-Specific Duties
- Table Manicure:
Clear and sanitize breakfast room tables after each guest departure and prepare for the next guest. - Consistent Set-up:
Set up breakfast buffet area according to hotel/brand directives. - Kitchen Checklist:
Ensure kitchen is cleaned per daily checklist after breakfast period. - Food Safety:
Follow local health codes and breakfast standards checklist daily. - Buffet Management:
Keep buffet area stocked and clean through the breakfast period.
Success Metrics
- Happy Guests:
Management Performance Ratings;
Guest Satisfaction Scores/Intent to Return. - Spotless Cleanliness: GM/AGM spot checks;
Leadership Walk-throughs;
Guest ratings. - Product Consistency & Quality:
Checklist tracking;

Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow established guidelines and procedures.
- Ability to work well under pace and pressure.
- Effective listening, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
- Hospitality and guest service orientation.
- Age 18+, ability to work varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Punctuality: clock in on time; do not work off the clock; clock out at scheduled end time unless directed otherwise.
- Breaks: clock in/out for breaks at scheduled times.
- Call outs: provide sufficient notice as directed by supervisor.
Physical Working Demands & Environment
- Stand for long periods; type on computers; lift up to 25 pounds; keyboard and data entry; manual manipulation of objects.
Language & Reasoning Skills
- Read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English.
