Job SummaryThe HRIS Analyst will assist in the maintenance and support of the Workday HRIS, including system updates and configurations. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving technical support tickets, generating and analyzing HR reports to provide insights for decision‑making, and participating in user training sessions to support end‑users. Additionally, the HRIS Analyst will maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
Job DescriptionWhat You’ll Do:
- Coordinate and implement Workday configuration changes for multiple modules including business process, notifications, on‑screen aides, and associated reporting.
- Provide escalated production support, analysis, and recommendations for process or data changes.
- Partner with HR business team members as the Workday SME for operational support of relevant repetitive HR cycles (Open Enrollment, Performance, Compensation, etc.).
- Generate data extracts, reporting, and analysis from multiple data sources and systems. Triage data discrepancies.
- Provide technical assistance to the HR community, acting as a liaison with other organizations including Information Technology.
- Gather requirements, complete functional and detailed designs, and perform gap analyses on Workday‑focused projects.
- Plan, coordinate, and perform testing and training on existing systems, enhancements, upgrades, and new implementations.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or Human Resources; or Associate’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant Workday HCM experience; or HS diploma/GED with 10 years of relevant experience.
- 7 years of experience with Workday system support and configuration. One or more Workday pro certifications a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines effectively.
- On‑Site at the AEP Headquarters in Columbus, OH or Tulsa, OK.
